10.01.2023 – Sunday Announcements

  1. 【Youth Ministry Parents Meeting】10/1 from 12:30-1:00 p.m. in the Youth Center (Rm. 126-127). Please email Kenny (kenny.cecil@ecbckc.org) if you cannot attend.
  2. The two deacon candidates successfully passed the congregational vote last week without negative ballots.
  3. 【29th Anniversary】10/22, Guest Speaker: Rev Mark McCrary; will have luncheon. Welcome everyone to celebrate with thanksgiving!
  4. 【Harvest Night】 10/31. We need candy donations. The donation box is outside the main entrance of the sanctuary. Please pick up a sticky note and put the purchased item(s) in the box. Thank you!
  5. 【SIGHT prescreening】10/29 Sun 2-5pm, The Protagonist, Dr. Wang (world renowned eye doctor) will meet the audience in person and consult with eye problems for free.

  1. 【Viola State Missions Offering】We will collect the Special Offering for Kansas and Nebraska State Missions for the whole month of September. Our church’s Goal is $5,000. YTD $2,650 is received. Please write your check to ECBC and memo State Missions. For online giving, please choose Viola Webb State Mission.
  2. All are welcome to join our monthly prayer meeting on the last Sunday 12:30-1:00 pm.
  3. The 2023-24 Co-Workers List has been posted on the bulletin boards. Please check if your name is in the right place and inform Eric Li of any corrections. The coworkers will be inaugurated and begin serving in October.
  4. We have decided to move our monthly luncheon to the 2nd Sunday starting in October and keep the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday. Please inform and remind each other.
  5. The Youth Ministry at ECBC is hosting a Parent Meeting on Sunday, 10/1 from 12:30-1:00pm after Sunday School classes at ECBC. The meeting will take place in the Youth Room (Rm. 126). This is an important meeting where we will cover some upcoming changes in the Fellowship structure and introduce forms that you need to sign for your students. Please attend this meeting, even if your youth has been attending our ministry for a long time. Please let Kenny (cecil@ecbckc.org) know if you cannot attend and we will find a way to get you the correct forms.
