  2. ECBC 30th Anniversary Celebration Series: Youth Fellowship Introduction
  3. Brothers and sisters who can help with the summer Bible school please take a lunch plate in the cafeteria after today’s Sunday school and go to Rm 123 for the VBS planning meeting (12:30-1:30p).
  4. Youth Summer Mission Project (7/5-13) applications are now available. If you are a baptized Christian and would like to join the mission to help churches on Native American reservations in Arizona, please pick up an application from Brother Ting or Sister Yaoli. Application deadline: 5/5 (Sunday).
  5. We have a high-end flowerpot charity sale at the entrance of the church, interested parties are welcome to go and buy. All the proceeds will be donated to the church. Please make checks payable to: ECBC and memo Flowerpot Sale.

  1. 【Deacons and Fellowship Leaders Meeting】2/24, 8:30-10:30 AM in the Conference Room (103). The main goal is to connect deacons with every fellowship. Please try to attend the onsite meeting although the Zoom meeting is available for those who really can’t make it.

  1. Praise the Lord! Pastor Chou almost unanimously passed last Sunday’s congregational vote, with 131 Yes and 2 No. Therefore, Pastor Chou became a full-time assistant pastor as of Feb 1st, 2024.
  2. The February Coworkers Council Meeting will be held this Saturday (2/10) at 8:30 a.m. in Conference Room 103, and all VRs are invited to attend it.
  3. We will have our monthly luncheon and also the Chinese New Year gathering next Sunday (2/11)

Based on Pastor Tan’s suggestion and discussions in January’s Coworkers Council Meeting, the Personnel proposed to adjust Pastor Chien-Wen Chou’s duty from serving 25 hours per week to a full-time assistant pastor starting from February 1, 2024. The proposal will be presented to a congregational vote next Sunday (1/28). There is a Q&A session today 1:00 -1:30 p.m. in Room 101.
  3. ECBC 30th Anniversary Logo Design Competition: Theme: Pressing Forward; Deadline Extended to Jan 27th, 2024. Submit your entry to 30years@ecbckc.org.

  1. Pastor Tan’s Sabbatical application was approved at the January Coworkers Council Meeting yesterday. It will be from April 1 to September 30.
  2. Based on Pastor Tan’s suggestion and discussions in the Coworkers Council Meeting, the Personnel proposed to adjust Pastor Chien-Wen’s duty from serving 25 hours per week to a full-time assistant pastor starting from February 1, 2024. The proposal will be presented to a congregational vote in two weeks (1/28). And a Q&A session will be held in Room 101 at 1:00 p.m. next Sunday.1/21.
  3. ECBC 30th Anniversary Logo Design Competition: Due Date: Jan 21st, 2024, Noon. Submit to: 30years@ecbckc.org; Winner Prize: $50; Please include your name in the email upon submission. Theme: “Pressing Forward 勇往直前” Philippians 3:13-14.  
  4. Due to the inclement weather, our January luncheon will be postponed to next Sunday (1/21).
  5. Our Sagrada Bible Camp yard cleaning was planned on 1/20 but needs to be rescheduled. Brother David Cage will keep the signers updated.

May God touch everyone’s heart to give generously so that we can achieve our goal to greatly support the faithful missionaries all over the world. Please write your check to ECBC and memo Lottie Moon. 
  2. 2024 Budget Proposal was approved at this month’s Coworkers’ Meeting and posted on the bulletin boards in the hallway. We will have a Q&A session today 12:30-1:00 pm in Rm 101. The congregational vote will be next Sunday (12/24).
  3. 【CWC Winter Conference】12/22-26 in Sheraton Hotel KCMO，Registration Deadline: 12/17 4pm. For details, please visit CWCNET.org.
  4. Christmas Eve Candlelight Worship & Baptism: 12/24 @7:30pm in the sanctuary.
